London’s first fully mobile coffee stall has arrived. The brainchild of Guy Llewellyn, Caffè Mobile is the answer to the prayer’s of London’s coffee connoisseurs.

Using an original three-wheeler Vespacar as the stall, these purveyors of fine Italian coffee have installed a world renowned espresso machine imported directly from Italy. Serving a unique blend of the finest Colombian and Ethiopian beans through an original manual coffee machine ensures that Caffè Mobile turns-out the best coffee available in London.

Their first site on Islington High Street (next to Angel tube station, N1) has generated enormous interest and a thriving trade. There are now sites at Highbury and Islington station (N5), Belsize Park Station (NW3), Camden Stables Market (NW1), Columbia Road flower market (E1) and Spitalfields Market (EC1). The eye-catching Vespacar and the immaculately presented machine are a considerable draw even before the coffee has been tasted. At 80p for an espresso (une caffè in Italy) and £1 for a cappuccino excellent continental coffee is no longer the preserve of the enthusiast.

"We chose Islington for its busy, bustling, continental feel. Residents, commuters and tourists visiting London form the bulk of our customers." In the morning most customers are commuters using Islington’s busy tube and bus stations "we provide lids specially designed to allow you to drink on the move without spilling, essential for tube, car and bus journey’s." During the day Islington’s residents and workers benefit from the smooth strong Caffè Mobile blends.

On the quality of the coffee, Guy Llewellyn explains, "We knew we had cracked it when Italians visiting London formed a queue on our first day here before we were open to the public." Now Italian tourists make a visit to Caffè Mobile an essential part of each day spent in the capital. Londoners it seems are equally enamoured by the coffee.

Caffè are determined to make the highest quality coffee available throughout London. "Quality and accessibility are our two watchwords." The trend to US and continental coffee has begun and the urban lifestyle demands a caffeine kick-start to the day or an invigorating infusion at various times of the day and night.

We are working with Piaggio and our coachbuilder to satisfy an already healthy demand for the vehicle from as far away as Hong Kong, Switzerland and the US. A London invention that should have universal appeal. Coals to Newcastle or Coffee to Seattle indeed!
